Write for VIA
Have a story, reflection, or travel experience you think is worth sharing? VIA welcomes contributions from young creators who want to publish their work without taking on a recurring commitment. Contributors can submit written, visual, or multimedia pieces while retaining full credit for their work.
Our contributor package outlines everything you need to know before submitting. Once received, each piece is reviewed by a member of our team for quality, rigor, originality, and alignment with VIA’s editorial and ethical standards. Selected submissions then move forward for editing and publication, in collaboration with the original author.

Travel writers
Dispatches and Destination Guides from places you have actually been. You bring the trip and the honesty about what it cost; we bring the editing.
Editors
Work with contributors from pitch to publication — line editing, checking claims against our standards, and helping a first-time writer sound like themselves.
Social media producers
Turn published work into something that travels. You decide what a guide looks like when it leaves the site.
Web designers
The site itself: how a story is read, how a region is chosen, and how someone finds the one piece they came for.
Artists
Illustration, photography, and maps for stories that photographs alone cannot carry.
